Taufeeq “the test player” Umar
We came to the conclusion after years of experimenting that Taufeeq Umar is a test player. So what the fuck was he doing opening for Lahore Badshahs in a Twenty20 tournament’s final???????
It was painful watching him try to hit a boundry and fail again and again. It was also painful to watch his partner not even try to take two runs cuz they didn’t wanted him to get the strike again. In the last over when Taufiq Umar couldn’t manage a single, it took Rana Naveed to sacrifice his wicket and elbow to get him off the strike, but by then it was too late.
It’s a good thing we have two more finals otherwise I’d be cursing Taufeeq Umar for a while. For now, Inzi can just bench him for the rest of the two finals.
