back for now….
Finally I have dragged my lazy ass around to update this blog. I don’t know whether this is going to be a one off thing where I update once and forget about it, or it’s going to be something that happened to me in March where I started of with one entry and ended up doing fifty fucking seven posts in less than 15 days.
For those 2 people who have been making rounds of this blog while I was gone, sorry about the lack of updates, and for the rest of you, well no apologies necessary cuz you didn’t miss me 
So, what was the reason behind my absence? Blame it on IPL. The twenty20 league was addictive because of the timing, you get home and the match starts, the fireworks and most of all, no single team was a favorite to run the table, as has been with international cricket over the last decade where Australia has sapped all the competition and excitement out of the recent World Cups. I was backing the Dehli Daredevils and Rajhistan Royals, mainly cuz of the number of Pakistani players they picked even though except for Sohail Tanveer, all of them flopped big time.
After IPL, I started my summer reading thanks to the summer sale at Liberty Books online. I ordered 5 books, read them back to back, prompting my wife to threaten me that if I order one more book she’ll throw it out of the house before I ever get my hands on it, so I went ahead and ordered 10 more. Usually the delivery time of Liberty online is really good, the books are delivered the next day, or one day after at most. But now it’s been well over a week and I still haven’t received my books, raising doubts that my wife went ahead with her plan and chucked the parcel over the boundary wall as soon as it arrived and some Afghan boy collecting garbage picked it up and sold it to the raddi wala at two rupees per kilo. However a call to Liberty’s helpline confirmed that they still haven’t dispatched it and I’ll probably receive it tomorrow. Hmmmm….. maybe this post will turn out to be a one off once I receive my package tomorrow

google it up and see if u can have a sample..its really good the way actual facts are presented with dallops of humour. so like, if i do pick up a book, i take my own sweet time to finish it 
pehle u used to get done with a novel in 2 nights flat….hence am as blind as a bat – and hence had to kill the bookworm! so now u know
am not a bookworm…one those htigns i had to kill in me – but if ur interested, i highly recommend the horrible histories series

btw, tell me more about this horrible history series…
its about HISTORY…e.g 20th century, the tudors, discoveries, wars etc. but its presented in a very unique n humorous manner with drawings and exaggerated bubble quotes etc. pick up one and shee if u like it. i started with mad miscellany – wich is a mixture of historical stuff..like the pharoas, incas etc. now am half way thu the 20th century one.
