Adobe Reader – Bookmarks Plugin
If you have ever read an eBook or eMagazine in PDF format, chances are you have searched for a bookmark feature in Adobe Reader. Reading a 500 page book in one sitting on a backlit screen isn’t really practical. However, Adobe which has released 9 different versions of it’s popular free software has failed to include such a basic feature in it.
While surfing web, I came upon a site where some genius has made a javascript plugin for Adobe Reader. It’s a very simple script that lets you inset one bookmark per file. All you have to do is copy the following javascript file (right click then save as) in your Adobe Reader’s javascript folder and voila. Next time you open a PDF file, you will see the bookmark option under the ‘tools’ menu.
