Free Credit Giveaway Response
The response to the “Free Mobile Credit Giveaway†has been great. Email subscriptions are up seven times in the last 2 days. Of course there are two ways to look at it, one is that the numbers were so horrible to begin with that seven times jump is no big deal. I prefer to look at the glass half full and am feeling good that my idea generated a buzz.
The real difference is in the number of visitors, in the first two days of this month the traffic coming into this blog is about 12% of the total traffic of the month of March. And as I mentioned a couple of days earlier that March was my most visited month ever since I started this blog.
The question is whether these subscribers and the high level of traffic will sustain throughout this month and beyond or it was just the initial buzz of the freebie giveaway that will settle down soon.
One thing is for sure, that from the current trend it looks like females are more interested in freebies as compared to guys because most of the new subscribers are females. Just wait till they start getting the jokes in their mailboxes and then they’ll realize what they’ve done 
Oh one last note, some of the new subscribers haven’t yet activated their subscriptions, which will make them ineligible for the draw tomorrow. So if any of you guys/girls are reading this, activate it today so that your name can be entered into the draw tomorrow.
